If your request is for the title of a martial arts style that is widely-known, or a single word, this does not apply to you. We'll still add single words or simple titles for you to order custom calligraphy wall scrolls for free (free translation, you pay for the scroll and artwork).

But if we have to compose a custom title for you there will be an upfront fee. This will apply to translating and composing your business name, a new name for a martial arts school, or anything complex that requires a great deal of thought and contemplation by one of our translators.

Here is how it will work:

Tell us the title you want. If it is easy, we'll reply with the answer and a link where you can order the custom wall scroll.

If it is complex, you will get a link where you can pay a $20 translation fee in advance. Half ($10) of that fee will apply toward the purchase artwork.

This is the straw that broke the camel's back:

We worked for well over an hour on this project. Thus, I paid my translator $25 for all of this work. Then the customer decided NOT to purchase the wall scroll.

Other translations services charge upwards of $500 for a business or organizational naming job like this. We were willing to do it for the tiny profit of a custom wall scroll (basically, we would break-even).

We can't put ourselves in the position to lose money like this when sales are off in the recession, and we are tightening up the budget so we can survive to live again in the future good times.
