I already have a tattoo of the TRUST symbol, and I'm wondering if I can add the symbol for GOD to it and make it say Trust In God/In God We Trust? or if it won't work?

Here is how to write it:

Don't mix fonts though. The ones you found are in two completely different fonts. You need to match the font of your current tattoo (otherwise it will look bad - especially to native Asians).

I conferred with one of our native Chinese translators. If you have those two "trust" characters already, adding "shang di" (God) will work fine. Just another way to express it.

Here are some dictionary entries for your "trust"
http://www.orientaloutpost.com/dictionary.php?q=%E4%BF%A1%E8%B3%B4&t=chars
http://www.orientaloutpost.com/dictionary.php?q=%E4%BF%A1%E9%A0%BC&t=chars

The second character can be written in three slightly different ways (the only difference is on the upper right). So this word is universally-understood in Japanese and Chinese. Ignore the fact that these Unicode characters were coded differently for Japanese and Chinese (I think this was an accident/error in the computerized-character-coding process, which is very common in the 40,000+ CJK characters).

Here's the entry for God:

This is probably the best selection. However, you may be interested to know about these:

http://www.orientaloutpost.com/dictionary.php?q=%E8%80%B6%E5%92%8C%E8%8F%AF&t=chars
Those are a little more specific - These are meant to have the original pronunciation of the Hebrew names for the God of Zion/Abraham.
I did not check the combination of your "trust" characters and either of these titles with the translator, so please check back if you suddenly decide you want one of these titles.

Thanks for all your help. So even adding this third symbol here on this link you showed, it too says TRUST correct?

Yes, adding the third character is another way to express "trust". The third character just adds a meaning of "feeling". So the whole meaning is something like "A trusting feeling". However, it's not a great combination if you want to add "God" after that. Keep it simple with the 4 characters.
