Every Creature Has A Domain

The first line (which is the column on the right) says, "The Ocean is the World of the Dragon". The next column says, "The Clouds are the Domain of the Cranes".

This is a somewhat poetic way to say that everyone and everything has its place in the world.

This piece is painted with special Chinese ink tan xuan paper (rice paper) mounted to a traditional silk brocade wall scroll.

Chinese Calligraphy is only practiced by those with a keen and agile hand. It is an art that dates back thousands of years, and great artists, writers, and poets are often admired for their calligraphy ability and style.

The artist's name is "Xin An-Ping" who is from Beijing, China. He is a master calligrapher and does lots of custom work for both us and our customers.

This hanging scroll is really nice since it doesn't require framing. Just hang it on your wall as Chinese people have done for centuries.
