Xī Pàn Hè Míng
This painting features many white cranes frolicking in the new orange glow of the morning sun by the edge of a creek.
The Chinese title, 溪畔鶴鳴 or "Xī Pàn Hè Míng" translates as "Crane Song at the River Edge" or "Cranes Cry at Creek Bank".
This was painted by the artist 青林 (Qīng Lín) of southern China.
This is painted on special xuan paper (rice paper) with then mounted with a silk border.
