他日凌雲誰見心

Someday from Lofty Heights, Find Yourself

Tā rì líng yún shuí jiàn xīn

The artist's title for this piece is 他日凌雲誰見心 or "Tā rì líng yún shuí jiàn xīn" which translates as "Someday from lofty heights, find yourself" or "He/she who sees their own heart will someday fly to new heights". It's a little ambiguous as to whether you start by finding yourself and seeing your own heart, and then fly to new heights, or vice versa.

他日凌雲誰見心 comes from a poem talking about a small sparrow, the sentence before this one says "[the bird] shouldn't just dwell under the fence".

This artwork was painted by 懿嘉 (Yi Jia). The materials include a special water-pattern xuan paper mounted with a white silk brocade border. The artwork will arrive rolled up in a ready-to-frame condition.
