News flash about Mr. Wang:
At the beginning of June, 2007, Mr. Wang announced his retirement. He felt that constant contact with the charcoal was the cause of his health problems (he's been hospitalized a couple times recently). I offered to buy the best charcoal pencils that I could find so that he would not have to directly touch the charcoal, and he is considering this. Also, his doctor has advised that it was probably not the charcoal, but rather the hot weather and prolonged concentration on his artwork that may be the cause of Mr. Wang's ailments.
I do not know what the future holds for Mr. Wang, and our ability to offer his artwork. The artwork below may be the last batch that we receive from him. However, I have a few tigers and horizontal bamboos held in reserve.
All of us hope for a full recovery, and if all goes well, more charcoal artwork will come, but perhaps in smaller quantities.
All items past this line are sold, however, similar items may become available in the future.
