Why must I use the Asian Art Forum for my question?
I was overwhelmed with more than 30 emails with complex questions per day (that's 5 or more hours of email replies for me each day).
I had a choice of raising artwork prices, charging a fee for answers, or starting the Asian art forum.
By starting the forum, I think I chose the best option for myself & my beloved customers.
This also works out well for me, as the same question you ask on our forum may help 10 other customers who want the same information. This has reduced my question and answer workload by about 50%!
The result: We've avoided raising artwork prices for everyone!
Why don't you have a toll-free number and/or someone to answer phone calls?
Maybe we are under-staffed, but we kind of like it that way (it keeps us busy). I calculated what it would cost to have a toll-free number and a person designated to answer calls. The result would be that we'd have to add $5 - $10 to the price of every piece of artwork we sell!
Doesn't the fact that using our forum to contact us saves you $5 - $10 on everything you buy seem like a better deal?
Please do not use email for general questions, inquiries about custom artwork, appraisals, tattoos, etc.
