This scroll did not pass my inspection. It has some minor foxing in the painting and a watermark, which you can see in the close-up image as a halo line above the monkey and foliage. Foxing is rust-colored spots that sometimes develops in paper over time. It gives the painting a very authentic antique look. But I have to discount it anyway. More about Foxing from Wikipedia.
